SCHOTT – glass made of ideas
With more than 17,400 employees in more than 40 countries, SCHOTT is one of the worldwide leading companies in the area of special glass and specialty materials. The international technology group contributes to its customers’ success with high-quality products and intelligent solutions. This has made SCHOTT into an important component in the life of everyone of us.
In 2010, kleiner und bold became responsible for the concept development and implementation of the SCHOTT Brand Academy, an interactive training and experience format designed to provide a more in-depth knowledge of the company’s brand values. Parallel to this, the Brand Booklet was issued to convey more intensely both the company and brand strategy. This was followed by a Design and Brand Audit, which culminated in a revision of the corporate design for the company’s print products. The challenge here was to reduce the various design elements that had existed to date and give the corporate group a uniform and compelling outward appearance. The new literature concept with its dimensioned design parameters, explanatory texts, examples and extensive templates was integrated into the group-internal Brand Styleguide and thus constitutes an essential basis for the consistent implementation of the brand.
